Warden
The Trustees of the Pilsdon Community have just recently accepted Nigel Fry’s resignation from the post of Warden. Nigel came as a Member with his wife Mary in July 2023. He valiantly stepped into the post of Warden on Sue Langdon’s departure at the end of October but the many challenges of family and community life have made things difficult for them both. We shall miss Mary Fry’s care of the community as a Member alongside Nigel’s Wardenship for that short period. We wish them well in the future.
We will be searching for the next Warden, as well as new Members to serve alongside James and Mary, the current Members, who are holding Pilsdon in their very capable embrace. Our guests have also been a great asset in keeping the rhythm of Pilsdon going as it has for over 65 years. The bells still call everyone to prayer or meals as they always have. The Trustees have been working hard to support the Members and would love to hear from anyone who would be interested in exploring community life. Please continue to keep us all in your prayers – we so appreciate that.
