We encourage anyone living in or visiting the household to use our other facilities during recreation times (after tea, evenings and weekends).  These include a pottery with a kiln (we are very fortunate to be able to draw on the expertise of a local potter who runs a class every Tuesday morning) an art studio and craft room.  There are opportunities for making music; choral and instrumental.  There are also games rooms, with snooker, badminton, table tennis and occasionally cricket and soccer teams fulfil fixtures locally.  We use the local leisure centre weekly for swimming, badminton and tennis. Three people have just joined  a creative writing course nearby. There is an extensive library and a fortnightly mobile County library and opportunity in the evenings for chess, cards and board games.  We have two television rooms and offer transport to one of the local cinemas most weeks.  Also we have some of the finest Dorset countryside and coast for walks and for swimming.
